The Mandalorian (Season 2)

• This show continues to be perfect, as season two starts strong, stands strong, and finishes strong. I love the continuation of the storyline. It follows the same journey as the first season, but with some new characters and thrilling episodes. When I watched this season for the first time, I wasn’t really a huge fan of it. I thought it felt too much like the first season, so it was somewhat boring. However, on the rewatch, it really stands out to me, and is much better than I remembered. (Spoiler ahead) I like how the character list grows, with the inclusion of fan favorites such as Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, and one of my all time favorites, Bib Fortuna (all though I hate what they did with his character). I have a miniscule complaint, which is Boba’s return. I really liked the mystery around his “death”, except that this season confirms his escape from the Sarlacc. I loved wondering whether or not he actually escaped or not, and I think they should’ve kept it that way. It was one of the big questions of the Star Wars universe that I don’t think should’ve been answered, but that’s just me. It's a cool return, but not necessarily needed (hot take). There is also a certain (and a personal favorite) character that makes a visit in the season finale, and the first time I saw it, I totally flipped out. To me, this season has one of the best season finales in the history of television. It caps everything off in a great way, as well as providing a great result to a season long buildup. All the action scenes of the season were very well shot. The choreography and stunts are so spot on, especially when it comes to Ahsoka and the other melee scenes. The music was also really great, continuing the tribal/simple sound that the show needs. Overall, this season is so impressive, and once again, Pedro Pascal shines. And I can’t stress enough how awesome the last few minutes of the season is (especially since it has the Force Theme). I mean, it literally made me tear up. Anyways, I’d definitely recommend this season, and if you think the first was awesome, then you’re in for a treat. This season is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
