My Life with the Walter Boys (Season 1)

• Ok, look. I never would’ve watched this if my sister wasn’t so obsessed with it. I’m not at all into shows like this, and I’m very surprised that I got drawn into it the way I did. I had never heard of it until I watched most of episode 7, and I got so sucked in that I knew I needed to watch it. I ended up basically binging the whole thing in a night. It’s not a super well made show or anything, but the useless drama is very fulfilling. That crap is so easy to just get pulled into. All the high school drama and relationships and whatnot, it’s just so stupid but so good. The story itself is actually decent, with some originality, but also some very cliche ideas. It’s something I haven’t seen before, but there’s a lot of things that just feel overused. The dialogue is super corny at times. Much of it is cringy, but you can’t help but watch every second of it. The characters are kind of the same way. A lot of the line deliveries are odd and over the top. But you get so invested in their stories and personalities, that you can’t not watch. Overall, it’s not always the best, but I loved all the pointless drama and random relationships, so I enjoyed it. I’d probably recommend it if you like these cheesy types of romance/drama shows.
