• This movie was pretty crappy. Essentially, it’s just a copy of the first and second movie in this series, so it’s nothing original. Although it mentions the events from the first movie, it basically just feels like either a random remake or a reboot. The story is pretty much the exact same, although it does have its own little spin on it. The first two films are basically just crazy events happening, whereas in this one, there are clues for the main characters to find. It gives the movie a fresh take, but it’s basically the only original thing in the movie. All the rest is the same. I didn’t like any of the characters. They were all insanely obnoxious and dumb, and they made the movie pretty unbearable to watch. The acting was also really sucky. Much of the dialogue was pretty horrendous, and it felt like every other mid-2000’s movie. It was really corny and awful. The effects weren’t great at all, and a lot of them were pretty questionable. But, like the first two movies, the cheesy effects give the intense scenes a fun feel. All the crazy death scenes were pretty epic, but that was one of the only things I liked about this movie. I liked the setting, and having the movie set at the carnival/amusement park in certain scenes was fun. The music wasn’t good, and there wasn’t a single scene where I noticed that it was good. It helped the suspenseful scenes a little bit, but other than that, it wasn’t good at all. Overall, I would definitely not watch this again, nor would I recommend it.
