Frasier (1993-2004)
Frasier (1993-2004)
I believe I’ve found one of the most perfect shows ever made. I’m not exaggerating one bit. From the very first episode to the very end, it’s flawless. Of course, there’s some episodes that aren’t as good as others, but there’s not a single bad one. Eleven seasons, and every single one is great. There’s a reason it’s the highest Primetime Emmy winning show ever, only behind Game of Thrones. It’s easily one of my new favorite shows of all time. The storyline of a radio host in Seattle having to deal with his dad and failed lovelife is original, funny, and entertaining. I haven’t even seen ‘Cheers’, which is where Frasier Crane first showed up. I’m definitely gonna watch that soon now, so I can have the full Frasier Crane experience. I’m gonna watch the twelfth revival season, too. The writing is absolutely brilliant, and as I said, every episode is insanely good. The line deliveries are great, and the situations, both romantic and comedic, keep you invested. All the characters are awesome, even the obnoxious ones (I’m looking at you, Moon family). It took some time to figure out who my favorite was, but after a few seasons, I settled on Niles, and he remained my favorite the rest of the show. I just love him so much, partially because he reminds me of me in several ways, and he’s just hilarious and disastrous. Hats off to David Hyde Pierce, and the rest of the cast as well. Everyone does great. Kelsey Grammer is such a beast. Both figuratively and literally. It’s an unforgettable ensemble, with great cameos across the whole show, both physical and over the phone. I want to say more, but you should watch this show for yourself, and I promise you’ll get sucked in. The first episode alone is one of the greatest pilots I’ve ever seen, and even one of the greatest TV episodes of all time. I’d recommend this to all sitcom fans. This show is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
