• I didn’t go into this movie with a lot of expectations, but I surprised by how good it was. I really enjoyed the characters and the music. The effects and makeup were really good, and it made for some pretty creepy scenes and shots. The entire story felt super eerie, with a really great concept. The first half of the movie was pretty solid, and then at a certain point, it definitely takes a turn and becomes very fun. The second half also holds up to the first half. The ending was also extremely goo, and it perfectly sets up the sequel. Overall, I can say I'd definitely watch it again. It has a few pretty good jump scares, with a great climax and ending. Another thing I loved about this movie was the use of the weird dream zombie people. When they were used, the movie didn’t need a crazy paranormal ghost, it was just a normal looking person, which made it even creepier. And like I said before, the music was really good, and the use of the many strings gives it the perfect Psycho-esque touch. There's still some dumb moments, and a couple minor things that don't make much sense (which is why this gets a 75%). But I still absolutely love it. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
