Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Man, I forgot how good this movie is. First time I saw it was way back when it was released, and I haven’t seen it since (until now). I appreciated the art and effort way more than I did before, as well as the characters and story. Even though I had already seen this, I was still blown away by the amount of detail that went into this movie. Not just character designs, action, and dialogue, but the colors, background images, and comic/movie references. My gosh it’s good. The whole story is great, as it keeps you entertained and provides plenty of emotions. The first half is strong, but the second half is stronger. There’s a certain point (I won’t say where) where it just totally gets real, and that’s the turning point of the movie for me. The deepness really sucks you in and holds your attention the entire time. The characters also keep you hooked. Each different Spider variant adds so much special feeling to the story, and the whole movie itself. I especially love Miles, Peter B. Parker, and Spider-Noir. They are just so frigging cool. And all the voice actors did such an amazing job (I love how stacked the cast is). Finally, the animation is the obvious high point of the movie. I really can’t even describe it. It’s definitely something you have to experience for yourself, and that’s all I’ll say. Overall, this movie is ridiculously good. There’s still some Spider-Man movies I prefer more, but this one is still awesome. I’d highly recommend it to all superhero fans, and even if you don’t like superheroes, it’s still worth watching solely for the animation style. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
