The Boys (Season 4) (2024)
The Boys (Season 4)
I have a message to everyone out there that thinks this season has caused the show to fall off. That message is this: you are completely wrong and have now had your right to an opinion revoked. This season was absolutely phenomenal in every sense. There’s no question about it. The way it’s able to tie itself and mimic current events was really cool. It only makes the show feel like it’s actually happening in real life, which is a huge reason why this season is so good. I feel like I could actually go outside and see Homelander flying across the sky. Gosh, I love it. The similarities are just awesome, and sometimes even hilarious. The storyline in this season was fantastic, and I LOVE how political it gets. Taking the show to the White House and the Presidency was smart, entertaining, and has amazing potential for the fifth and final season. A lot of people weren’t a fan of how political it got (I saw lots of complaints on Twitter), but they can go take a hike. The acting was absolutely amazing, and though sometimes it may seem a little silly at times, it’s still taken extremely seriously. Especially Antony Starr. If that man isn’t AT LEAST nominated for an Emmy next year, then something is seriously wrong with the award system. Every single second he’s on screen, you never know what’s gonna happen, and your heart beats out of your chest. He’s maniacal and bloodthirsty. He’s cruel and power hungry. He’s straight up terrifying. And Antony Starr plays it so well. Just look at Episode 4, as well as the rest of the season. Award that man right now. I’m going to leave it here for now, because I don’t want to give anything else away. The season leaves on a great cliffhanger, and I’m insanely excited for Season 5. This season is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
