• Coming in as one of my favorite movies of all time, Love & Mercy is based off of one of the greatest musical geniuses of all time, Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys. This is a movie that I could probably watch every day for the rest of my life, and I would still find it amazing. Paul Dano and John Cusack play different versions of Brian Wilson, and they portray him really well for a musical biopic. The soundtrack is obviously full of Beach Boys music, but parts of the original score are really good. Not a whole lot of people realize what Wilson had to go through during the later part of his life, and it’s such a great portrayal of his life, his success, and his struggles. I seriously recommend this movie for everyone, no matter what kind of music you like. This film is officially Berry Approved, so pack down your surfboard and watch it NOW!
