Godzilla (1954)

Definitely a classic, this is one movie that can definitely entertain in certain scenes, and it provided way more action than the 2014 remake. Unfortunately, the entire movie is in Japanese (you have to read subtitles to get all the information), so I will not be watching it again. One thing that was pretty cool in this movie was that they used miniature sets to destroy, including little tiny figures of the characters. Although it was incredibly corny and cheesy, all of the destruction scenes were very fun to watch. That’s also one reason why I believe this one is better than the 2014 version, because it has so many more destruction sequences, which made it more easy to watch. Many of the dialogue scenes were pretty slow, and those were tough to sit through. The plot is also pretty good, and I like how scientists have to prove Godzilla’s existence to the government before they decide to take action. As I said, I wouldn’t watch it again, but I definitely would if you want to see a classic!
