The Blair Witch Project (1999)

Talk about one of the best horror movies ever. The impact it’s had on found footage and horror culture is astounding, and I think there’s a lot of movies that would’ve been made much differently had this one never gotten made. Much like the movie, I’m gonna keep this short. Both times I sat through this movie, I admired the amount of effort put into it, especially considering the low budget and small cast. It just feels so homemade and authentic. I can’t describe the feeling it gives me. It’s a fascinating story that spirals out of control in a horrifying way. That’s all I can say about that. The cast is amazing, and brings a very strong sense of emotion and natural chemistry. Everyone pitches in to make an absolute masterpiece. I’m not saying anymore because you have to experience this for yourself. It’s inventive, creative, terrifying, realistic, literally everything you could possibly want.
