The Foreigner

• This movie was very enjoyable for most of the time, and there were several scenes that were action packed and fun to watch. There were two certain movies that this movie reminded me of: one was Patriots Day (because of the way it involved internal affairs and investigations), and the other would be the Rambo series. Although the action sequences were entertaining, they were extremely similar to several of the Rambo movies. I don’t wanna say that this movie copied those, but this movie almost felt like it was part of the Rambo series. Chan’s character almost felt like the 2019 version of Rambo (even though that came after this movie), and I love how they made him the old guy who is underestimated in every situation. I really enjoyed the plot, and I love how it involves high ranking political figures being caught up in the mix of the plot. I wasn’t impressed one bit by the soundtrack, and it didn’t have any kind of punch to it. Overall, I would recommend it, and I particularly enjoyed Brosnan’s character.
