The Batman (2022)
The Batman
This movie is truly one of the greatest superhero flicks of all time, and I don't say that lightly. Matt Reeves certainly delivered the greatest Batman films to date, and it is my personal favorite Batman film. There's such a great diverse set of characters, with fantastic performances all around. RObert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader is one of the greatest castings I've ever seen in my life. He plays the most wrecked version of Batman/Bruce Wayne that we've ever seen, and I'm here for it. Not to mention his costume, which is easily the best live action Batman costume ever. In fact, Pattinson is the greatest live action Batman ever. You can fight me over that if you wish. Paul Dano gives a one-of-a-kind portrayal of the Riddler, and, much like Pattinson, was born for his role. His Riddler is one of my favorite movie portrayals ever. He's probably my favorite movie villain ever, only behind the ZSJL version of Steppenwolf. The cinematography was ridiculously good, and some of the best you'll ever see in a CBM. Greg Frasier did a knock out job. Finally, Michael Giacchino's score is the greatest movie score of this decade, and you can take that to the bank. There's about a million more things I want to add, but I don't have room, so instead, you can go listen to my podcast, where I did an episode on this masterpiece of a movie. Just click right here. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
