Misery (1990)
Misery
Definitely one of the coolest and most nerve racking horror/psychological movies I’ve seen, Kathy Bates absolutely delivers one of the coolest and creepiest characters I’ve ever seen. It’s a very unique movie because of the fact that the main antagonist is a woman, which you really don’t see a whole lot. She genuinely terrified me, and it’s one of the best pieces of acting I think I’ve ever seen. James Caan was also really good, and was able to play his role so well. The whole movie gave me The Shining vibes throughout. The score was really good, and I was really impressed with the music in the climactic scenes. The screenplay and story was also extremely well done and very original, which makes it awesome. I would absolutely recommend this movie to pretty much everyone, and it’s really nice to watch if you enjoy a psychological thriller. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go see it now!
