Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Man, what an emotional rollercoaster. All I gotta say is that James Gunn is a genius. That dude really knows how to make a CBM. I’d definitely say that this one is my favorite of the three, as well as the best. Of course, they’re all phenomenal, but this one just felt so different. It was so raw, emotional, and tragic, yet still loving, heartwarming, and friendly. I could go on about it all day. The final story for the Guardians was so good, and one of the deepest MCU films to date. At times, it didn’t even feel like an MCU film because of how deep it was. Rocket obviously has a huge presence in the movie, which was a great way to give information while wrapping up the trilogy. I won’t say much more for spoiler reasons. The characters were great as always, and I was especially pleased with the High Evolutionary. He is truly one of the most evil antagonists I’ve ever seen in any movie, and I wanted nothing more than to punch him in the face. Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. The soundtrack was amazing, the visuals were some of the best of the trilogy, and the action sequences (especially the final one) were almost on the same level as John Wick. Overall, this movie is near perfect, and it should go down as one of the greatest MCU films ever. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go see it now!
