The Flash (2023)
The Flash
I probably have to say that Andy Muschietti just made one of my favorite superhero films of all time. Because my GOSH this movie rocks. I don’t care what people say, whether they trash the cameos or complain about VFX, this movie hits the spot in every way imaginable. It’s everything I wanted, plus a whole lot more. If I put every thought that I have about this movie into a single post, it would exceed the character limit by a million. So I’ll try to keep it short. The story is extremely emotional yet dark, while it explains time travel and the multiverse in a very simplistic way. It’s not confusing at all, and I understood it perfectly (which doesn’t always happen). It’s so cool to see other timelines and what could happen should someone change the past. Seeing Keaton back as Batman was unimaginably amazing, as well as Shannon as Zod, and Batfleck one last time. Sasha Calle was also such a freaking beast. And of course, Ezra Miller does a terrific job in his different roles. Everyone added such a great amount to the movie. Plus, the Chrono Bowl cameos were enough to make me tear up. I really loved the visuals and color, as it gives the movie the most perfect comic book feel. The VFX wasn't super great, so that takes a few points off the Movie Score. The cinematography was also great for the most part. Finally, Benjamin Wallfisch delivered one of the best CBM scores in recent times. It’s so electric and powerful. I’ve listened to several of the songs on repeat for weeks now. Overall, this movie was really good, although the CGI is noticeably gross. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go see it NOW!
