Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road

• I’ve seen several Beach Boys/Brian Wilson documentaries, and this one is probably my favorite. Throughout the whole thing, you get to see a great look at his entire life, but it also doesn’t overcrowd you with information. It’s a fresh and different take on certain parts of his life, both the good, and the bad. You also get to see Brian talk about his own experiences and inspirations, instead of just other people. It was actually pretty funny, cause even though Brian was serious most of the time, he still dropped some hilarious and unexpected lines. I also enjoyed hearing from musicians such as Nick Jonas, Elton John, and Bruce Springsteen. Overall, this documentary was very well put together. Even if you’re not a Beach Boys fan, it’s still worth a watch. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
