• I feel like MCU shows are so hit or miss recently. This is one that was pretty close to stinking. Not as bad as ‘Secret Invasion’ was, but not too far above it. I don’t think it was horribly made, but it just lacked….everything. There weren’t many memorable characters, except for Kingpin and Echo. They were obviously the two big highlights, but everyone else was just in the background. The acting was somewhat solid, but nothing remarkable. The storyline wasn't’ anything special, either. I liked seeing another show with Kingpin involved, but that was the only fun thing. It just felt like any other action/drama show that gets made nowadays. It’s slow and doesn’t take time to flesh out characters or build up to any kind of anything. Plus, it’s only five episodes, so that makes it difficult for the viewer to get invested. For me, at least. I know after the first episode, I really just didn’t care that much. Nothing grabbed me or pulled me in the way I wanted it to. But it’s whatever. That’s all I really want to say right now. It’s not a show worth hurting yourself to see, but if you want to do an MCU marathon, then go ahead and check it out just the one time. Besides that, you’re not missing anything at all.
