• This movie was insane. Absolutely insane. From the opening shot, which brings you to tears without even knowing the context, to the different battle scenes, this movie is full of emotionally packed dialogue and acting from the great Tom Hanks, along with the rest of the cast. It was extremely graphic, which I found unsettling because the movie really makes you feel like you were in each battle and it was going on around you. I cannot rave enough about this movie, and it is easily one of my favorite war movies. The music was powerful and patriotic, and even though several scenes were disturbing, the entirety of the film was mind-blowing. This film is officially Berry Approved, so check it out now!
