• This movie hasn’t been released yet, so SOME SPOILERS AHEAD. It was shown as the Regal Mystery Movie, and I was so glad that this was what was shown. After seeing the trailer for the first time, I knew immediately that I wanted to see it. And I’m so, so glad that I got to see this early. I could go into a lot more detail about why it’s special to me, but I’ll hold off for now (look for my Raspberry Recap on it in the next few weeks). It had such a heartwarming and inspiring story, and I would best sum it up by saying it’s like The Ringer and Rocky combined. I love the approach the movie takes on the Special Olympics, and the treatment and acceptance of mentally challenged people. I could go on about it for pages and pages, but I’ll keep it short. All the characters were so amazingly awesome, as they all brought their own unique and hilarious personalities. It’s also so cool to see mentally challenged actors get a chance to really stand out and show how they aren’t different from others. I loved the soundtrack, even though some bits were kind of nerdy and cheesy. I’m gonna cut it off here, but like I said, I’ll go more in depth in a recap episode once it releases. I’m begging you to go see this in theaters, because I promise, it’s a fantastic and emotional experience, and I promise you’ll laugh your head off.
