• Disclaimer: this is not movie length, but it will still be classified as a movie. Obviously, Peter, Drax, and the others made this awesome, but it’s Kevin Bacon that made this such a fun special. Of course, it’s a Marvel Christmas special, so it’s automatically gonna be fun, but James Gunn actually wrote an American legend called Kevin Bacon into this, it put it over the top. It quite literally makes this a special special. It has a great story, and it doesn’t matter if it’s only 45 minutes. It didn’t need to be any longer, and it keeps you entertained for the whole thing. It’s also nice to have a quick little Christmas thing you can watch, without needing to see a full length movie. The overall story was fantastic, and like I said, the use of Kevin Bacon along with other little movie character cameos is awesome. I also love the backstory of Peter’s experience with Christmas. The flashbacks scenes were awesome, and I love how they used animation to help show the past. It’s an interesting choice that definitely paid off. The acting was great, the music was great, and overall, I’m very glad I watched it. It had plenty of comedy, along with some very heartfelt moments. The only thing I absolutely hated was Groot’s design. It was straight up horrible, and it made me want to throw up in my mouth. But, I still definitely recommend it to watch in December.
