Wonder Woman (2017)
Wonder Woman
This is definitely one of my favorite origin story movies, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is freaking amazing. She kills it in her role, and she’s easily my favorite female character of all time. Her fight sequences are so well choreographed, and honestly, they’re probably some of the best fight scenes in superhero movie history. The use of slow motion in certain spots is really well timed and adds to the element of the scene. The other thing I really love is how they have the majority of the movie set in WWII, which adds a really unique setting. I love how they used a real world event to help progress Diana’s story. I also love the fact that they used villains (the Germans) who already existed without needing to add or make up a new villain. The score is amazing, and it’s one of the scores that adds both intensity, as well as love. And of course, how can I not mention her main theme? Her main theme is one of the greatest superhero themes ever written, and my personal favorite. It really, REALLY pumps you up and gets you hype for the scene, and it makes Wonder Woman so much cooler. Overall, this movie is amazing, and the cinematography is awesome, as well as some really good CGI. I would definitely recommend this movie for all superhero fans. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
