Ghostbusters (2016)

This is one of the most unnecessary reboots ever, so I won’t spend a huge amount of time on this review. You take an already fantastic movie, and decide to give it a reset? It didn’t work out. The comedy felt very forced, and like a very bad and very long SNL sketch. Most of the cast is just an SNL reunion anyways. There were a couple good one liners, and Chris Hemsworth was funny, but besides that, there wasn’t a huge laugh factor. The acting wasn’t horrible, just not good. Like I said, it was like a big SNL sketch. The story had no unique elements at all, which I was disappointed with. Usually with a reboot, it has similar themes as the original, but you still get some new stuff. Not with this movie. Just another Ghostbusters, and a crappy one. That’s about all I wanna say for now. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this, nor will I probably watch it again.
