• This is perhaps one of the dumbest movies I’ve seen in recent years, and it was laughably horrible. But, that doesn’t make it a bad movie. Although cinematically it’s horrible, I had fun watching it, and most of it was hilarious. I was pretty skeptical when I first thought about watching it, but I’m seriously glad I did. There were so many gags that were constant in the movie, and the story, yet dumb, was still somewhat good. It definitely had an interesting concept, it was just cheap and ridiculous. But like I said, that’s what makes the movie enjoyable. All of the characters were hilarious, especially Andre. When someone from the 12th century gets transported to the 21st century, you can imagine how that would go. Their dialect and dress make them seem really goofy, and it adds a really funny element throughout the movie. Watching them try to adapt to modern life, as well as everyday objects was easily the best and funniest part of the movie. There were so many moments where I lost it because of their dumb (but innocent) decisions. The effects were extremely crappy in this movie, and though a few of them were somewhat decent, the majority were horrible. This is definitely one of the worst movies I’ve seen when it comes to the effects, but the corniness gives the movie a cheesy, fun feel. The music was also really cheesy, but it had a great feel that made the movie fun. It had bits of medieval sound, along with some modern music. Overall, I would recommend this to those who love comedies and overall dumb movies. It’s definitely not Berry Approved, but I’d definitely watch it again.
