• To those saying that sequels aren’t better than originals, you are dead wrong. This movie is a prime example of how a sequel can excel in greatness compared to the first movie. And if you think the first one is good, then strap yourself in, cause this one is an absolute rollercoaster of action and fun. I do think it started off somewhat slow, kind of like the previous movie. But once it gets into the main plot, it's basically full throttle until the end. Of course, I think it has its slow and tedious moments, but they are overshadowed by the action and xenomorphs. It was so cool to see them again, and in even more detail this time. And you don’t get just one, but several. Their designs are just so flawless. They’re seriously some of the coolest creatures ever introduced in any movie ever. Watching Ripley and the crew fight them was a showdown for the ages. I really like how this movie doesn’t necessarily have to piggyback the first one to make it move forward. You should definitely watch the first one first, but this could be a standalone. The stories are slightly similar, in terms of the whole “alien vs people” thing, but it still feels very new. It expands the xenomorphs numbers, as well as the human characters, so the stakes are raised. The makeup and effects did such a great job again, and like I said, the designs are flawless. There’s a lot more I want to say, but I won’t. Just go watch this movie, cause it is super fun. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
