Iron Man 3 (2013)
Iron Man 3
As the third and final movie of the Iron Man trilogy, this was a great way to end it, although we get to see a lot more of Iron Man in future MCU movies. I definitely enjoyed this movie, and it was definitely a step up from Iron Man 2. It had a great story, and one that really keeps you hooked. It almost feels like a bit of a detective movie because of all the facts that add up and lead to different things. The story was pretty easy to follow along with, which helps make the movie even better. One of the best things they did with this movie was Tony’s character. It was a great choice to give him anxiety, which is something a lot of people struggle with. His acting was phenomenal, and in the scenes where he has his anxiety attacks, he does a really convincing job. It’s always really interesting to watch a character who struggles with anxiety/mental problems, and this movie does a good job diving into that. It doesn’t go super in depth, but I like how they added it in. Guy Pearce also did a great job, and although I don’t think his character was super great, he still pulled it off pretty well. I enjoyed watching him when he was on screen. Ben Kingsley was also fun to watch, and he was hilarious. I especially loved Don Cheadle, and he was extremely fun to follow along with. And I absolutely have to mention the Iron Patriot suit. It is literally one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in my life, and every second that suit was on screen, I was completely locked in. It’s absolutely my favorite iron suit, and I was disappointed that we didn’t get as much of it that I wanted. It’s such a great combination of colors and shine, and literally gorgeous. I also love being able to see multiple suits in this movie, and it’s cool to see each and every design. The CGI and effects were great in this movie, and although there were a few somewhat questionable moments, overall it was well done. I loved the Air Force One scene, and whenever there’s a movie that has a fictional POTUS that gets attacked by the antagonist, I am always all eyes and ears. So seeing Air Force One under attack was thrilling. Overall, this was a great movie, and I definitely enjoyed it. There were a couple times where I got a little bored, but it was mostly entertaining. I would definitely recommend it for those who love superhero movies. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
