Arrow (Season 5) (2016-2017)
Arrow (Season 5)
Once again, Arrow continues to prove why it’s the best Arrowverse show. This season was so much more darker than the others (which were pretty dark), and that’s the reason I like it so much. Most of the Arrowverse shows are lighthearted, while still having some serious elements. However, almost nothing compares to this season. Like seriously, it was awesome. At some points, it didn’t even feel like a superhero show, but just straight up detective work and cat/mouse. I loved the story, which (somewhat) breaks away from the previous Arrow seasons. Once again, it was just so dark and I loved it. The character development is extremely good, with the added flashbacks providing a lot of cool information. I liked the additions of the new members of Team Arrow, which helps fill the roles of members lost. At first I felt questionable about it, but they grew on me. The last episode was also a nice reunion for several characters, and nothing you’d expect. It was a great wrap up for a fantastic season. And of course, the action was perfectly executed as always. This season is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
