• This will be a short review because this movie sucks. It’s a very poor final installment in the X-Men franchise, which is kind of what I was expecting, but still disappointed. A lot of critics and fans didn’t like ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ or ‘Dark Phoenix’, and I really liked those. But I agree with the consensus that this is a horrible movie. It just never truly works. The whole thing is just about mutants who get to know each other and face their fears and whatever. It was slow and boring, and never truly goes anywhere. There’s no great antagonist, and no great protagonist. The dialogue was doo doo, and extremely corny. The acting was goofy and stuck out like an unusually sore thumb. The VFX were cheesy, but not horrible. And that’s all I wanna say. It’s just not good, so I’m not gonna think about it longer than I have to. I would only watch this if you’re doing an X-Men run, but besides that, skip it.
