Saw (2003)

This is definitely one of my favorite short films ever. Not only was it well made, but it kicked off an entire 10 movie franchise (and possibly more). Despite the obvious use of Billy the Puppet, this short film isn’t related to the others. It’s just an experiment from Leigh Whannell and James Wan, and they used the same Jigsaw idea to start fresh in ‘Saw’ (2004). Same ideas, though not related. There’s not really much more to say, other than it’s a fun little horror film that certainly inspires me. I’d love to make something like this. Anyways, it’s free on YouTube, so go check it out!
