Little Boy (2015)
Little Boy
One of three movies that will actually make me cry, Little Boy is such a good movie because of the way it makes you feel. This is a movie that makes you feel many emotions, which was really well done by the writers. It makes you feel angry, and then sad, then happy, and it takes you on a great trip of life. This movie does a really good job of showing the problems of racism during WWII, and even though some terrible things are shown and said, in the end, it shows you that friendship and love is the strongest power. I really like this movie because it’s about WWII, but it doesn’t actually show much war action. It shows the battles that occur at home and in a town, and it deals with the wars outside the war. The movie has a really good message, and it uses a little boy to help give you hope and courage. Jakob Salvati does a freaking amazing job, and he is able to use everything he has for his character. He does an incredible job of showing his emotion in every scene, and there are several scenes where he literally moves me to tears. He’s also a great image for hope, because even though he is really short, the courage he displays gives you the feeling that anybody can do anything. Overall, the movie was really well shot, and the music is fantastic. I would highly recommend it to those who love dramas that are sprinkled with comedy.
