Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
This is one of the greatest movies ever made. It's perfect in every sense. I dare you to find a single fault. For the first Star Wars movie, this one really sets up the characters well and really hooked me into the series the first time I saw it. It creates possibly the greatest and most famous movie universe ever. It's so cool how a simple idea in the 1970's turned into one of the most infamous films of all time. It's such a simple but packed story. The ominous Empire maintaining an iron grip on a galaxy with no hope. But the use of sets, props, and advanced (for the time) special effects turns it into a realistic and authentic plot and setting. The audience is provided with an entertaining story, and relatable characters who will go down as some of the best in cinematic history. And who can forget John freaking Williams? This movie has arguably one of the best soundtracks of any movie, and it really gives excitement and adrenaline to the viewers. This movie is officially Berry Approved, so go see it now!
