• Apparently this is the prequel to ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, which makes sense once you’ve seen both. I feel like this is actually better to watch after Darjeeling, because you understand Jack’s character much more. However, seeing this short film helps some events of Darjeeling make more sense, but it doesn’t really matter either way. Watch it in whatever order you want. Seeing as this is only 13 minutes, it’s short and sweet, with a quick little story about complicated love. Jason Schwartzman and Natalie Portman make a good duo, especially with the very short amount of time they had together. They make a good introduction before ‘The Darjeeling Limited’. Overall, this movie is, like Darjeeling, perfect, because Wes Anderson is Wes Anderson (yes, I’m obsessed, I’m sorry). This short film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
