The Incredible Hulk (2008)
The Incredible Hulk
At first I wasn’t a huge fan of Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, but throughout the movie, he definitely started to grow on me. Overall, I mostly enjoyed the story, and I really enjoyed the fact that even though Hulk is considered a hero, he was treated as a threat. I wasn’t a really big fan of bringing Abomination into the mix, but every superhero needs a main villain. I will say that the shot of Hulk beating Abomination with the two police cars was freaking amazing. I also enjoyed Liv Tyler’s character, and I thought she did a decent job as the lady friend. There wasn’t really any impressiveness in the score, and although it definitely helped make the fighting scenes more fun, it wasn’t super memorable. This movie does get an extra point or two for having Bill Bixby on TV, as well as using Lou Ferrigno. I loved his cameo, and also the fact that they used his voice for Hulk. Plus, the scene with RDJ at the end was pretty sweet.
