The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
This was a fun show, although it wasn’t as gripping as I thought it would be. It was still good, and well put together, but I was hoping it would’ve been a little more exciting. But it still added some great elements that make it stand out. I’ve always liked both Falcon and Bucky, so getting to see them work together on the same show was really fun. I liked learning more about Falcon, as well as the circumstances surrounding the super serum. The show does a good job of adding much more history to certain Marvel characters. Pieces of the story actually feel educational, because of the way it gives you more insight on what happened involving certain events. That’s one reason the show was good. It also deals with certain issues and the ethical questions involving the serum, and how it was used. So, in a way, the show actually felt both educational, as well as entertaining. I liked all the characters, except for John Walker. He is absolutely one of the worst things the MCU has ever put on screen. I liked how the writers gave the title of Captain America to someone else, as it gives a really unique spin to the show. However, John Walker was horrendous to watch, and I truly hated his character. His inclusion to the show was an interesting choice, but like why they added him. The music in this show is great, and there were a few certain scenes that I was particularly impressed with. It also helped give all the fight scenes the classic Marvel feel. Also, the fight scenes were really well shot and choreographed. I really enjoyed them all, as they gave you an exciting and heroic feel. Overall, this show was pretty good, and though there were some points that seemed a bit slow, it still gives you a fun story with great characters. I’d recommend it to all MCU fans.
