American Sniper (2014)

American Sniper

  • The first thing I want to do is give some serious thumbs up to Clint Eastwood for what he did with this movie. The story was really great, and almost every scene was captivating. Bradley Cooper did such a great job in his role, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment he was on screen. There were several disturbing moments throughout the movie, one in particular that genuinely terrified me, almost to the point where I wanted to skip the scene. Although it was disturbing, Eastwood did such a great job of showing what it was really like over in Iraq during that time. The last 30 minutes of the movie were extremely good, and full of suspense and emotion. The only thing that I wish we could’ve seen was what happened to Kyle’s brother. I wish we could’ve seen what happened with him. The funeral procession at the end was a really nice tribute, and I absolutely, and I can’t stress this enough, loved how the credits were completely silent, with no music. I would highly recommend this one to everyone. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
