The Book of Boba Fett (2021-2022)
The Book of Boba Fett
Now the first time I watched this, I did not care for it at all, and I thought it was bland. However, on the rewatch, I definitely enjoyed it so much more. There were still some kinks that could’ve been worked out, and some scenes that seemed slow and unnecessary. But, it’s still a very solid show, and I like it now. Like I said in The Mandalorian Season 2 review, I wish Boba didn’t come back, because I liked the mystery behind his death/survival. But, now that it’s confirmed he escaped the Sarlacc, I love seeing more of his backstory. It shows his history and a side to him that we’ve never seen before. One thing I actually enjoyed more was seeing the Tusken Raiders. I’ve always really liked them, so being able to watch their culture was a new experience. The return of the Mandalorian was also fun, but I don’t like how it takes your eyes away from Boba for so long. It was kind of weird, but still enjoyable. I liked the music, as it’s very similar to The Mandalorian, but still being unique. All the action/shooting scenes were fun, and definitely intense (especially the season finale). The characters were pretty sweet, and like I mentioned, seeing the Mandalorian again was odd but nice. I love Temuera Morrison, and he does a good job embodying old Boba. I would’ve liked to see a series about younger Boba, but this one is still good. It was also super sweet to see Ahsoka, Luke, and the one and only Cad Bane. Overall, this show is solid, even though there are a couple things that could’ve worked out better. I would definitely recommend it to all Star Wars fans, though make sure you’re caught up on the second season of The Mandalorian (at least). This show is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
