The Social Network (2010)
The Social Network
Although this movie was still pretty good, it was definitely a bit too fast paced for me. I loved the style in which it was filmed, but the pacing just felt very speedy. Some people may like it, but there were several times where I was trying hard to keep up. It led to a few confusing scenes. The first few minutes of the movie felt very smushed together. However, after a while, it all started to make more sense. The story was of course really good, and well written. I’ve always really liked historical/biographical movies, so this didn’t disappoint in that department. I also like how it’s about a person that’s still relevant to this day, not someone who has retired or is dead. It’s kind of funny to see Zucc portrayed in a movie. Jesse Eisenberg certainly did a great job, though. I’ve always liked him, and he brought everything he had. Andrew Garfield also did a very good job. Basically everybody did. Plus, I was extremely happy to see Rashida Jones have a minor role (because she’s my mommy). Overall, this movie was pretty solid, though I did have a bit of an attention span problem because of the pace. I’d definitely recommend it if you love historical dramas, or of course, if you use Facebook. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
