The Fugitive (1993)
The Fugitive
Harrison Ford continues to be awesome, especially in this movie. The whole thing is thrilling and intense, which is a perfect feel for this kind of movie. The whole story was very fun to watch, as it was well written and provided a great feel of excitement. It was all pretty unique, and I love all the different twists and turns that it contained. The way there were almost two different stories going on at once was pretty fun, although some bits of it got a little confusing to me. I think it could’ve flowed together a little better, because there were a couple weird breaks in this plot. But, it all makes sense towards the end. From start to finish, the story continued to add important details and information, so it’s not a movie that loses your attention. It keeps you pulled in the entire time. I personally thought it was too long, which I usually like. It just felt like it was a bit drawn out, and though it needed to be long, cutting a couple scenes probably could’ve helped a little. All the characters were great, especially both Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. I really liked that duo, and I wish they could’ve been in more movies together. Not only were all the characters great, but the acting was awesome as well. Each person on screen was able to show their feelings, which helped add to the mood of the movie. The music was fantastic, and it reminded me a LOT of First Blood. It had the exact same feel and sound, which helped build tension to the plot. Overall, I enjoyed this movie, and I’d recommend it to all action/thriller fans. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
