Police Squad!

• Usually referred to as a classic, I can certainly say that ‘Police Squad!’ falls in that category. Leslie Nielsen is a comic genius, and he uses every ounce of comedic talent he has in this show. I don’t actually have that much to say, because all the episodes are very similar, and follow a similar story. It feels like a lot of older police shows, except the amount of dry humor and props is what makes this show so good. The dry humor is spectacular, and great line deliveries and repeated jokes that never get old. Of course, the acting is corny, but it’s supposed to be. It’s a great combination of the actors being serious, while they somewhat ignore all the funny stuff around them. It’s great. It’s cheesy and goofy, but that’s why it’s good. I’d definitely recommend this show to all comedy fans. Plus, it’s only six episodes, so it doesn’t take long to go through, and it’s easy to rewatch.
