Wham! (2023)
Wham!
I’ve always been a big Wham! fan ever since I first heard them. I don’t remember when that specifically was, but it was sometime in the beginning of middle school, and I’ve loved them ever since. I went through such a huge Wham! phase, and they continue to be one of my favorite bands of all time. So, seeing as this came out recently, I absolutely had to see it. It provides a great look from the band’s beginning to their splitting up, with awesome archival footage of interviews and concerts. I love how this documentary doesn’t have to be super long to tell you what you need to know. It goes over the big highlights and some behind the scenes details that really makes you appreciate George and Andrew. It also does a good job of talking about the band specifically, not just one member or the other. It’s such a simple documentary, nothing too crazy. It was really cool seeing concert footage and home videos, and it only makes me realize even more that I was born in the wrong decade. Overall, this documentary shows some really cool pieces of history, not just for Wham!, but music in general. If you like Wham! or the 80’s at all, then you should definitely watch this. This documentary is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
