• This show was so horrifically boring, and I definitely felt that I wasted my time watching this. I’m not gonna spend too much time writing this review, but there’s a couple things I wanna point out. The story was actually decently good (for the most part), although it’s gonna be a hit or miss for most people. Either you’ll like it, or you won’t. You have to have a weird and special type of humor to be able to understand and enjoy it. It’s just not my style. All the characters were written pretty well, although I found almost all of them stupid and obnoxious. They all just bugged the crap out of me, which is one reason why this show was so unenjoyable. I do like Jenna Ortega’s performance as Wednesday, although after all the adaptations I’ve seen, the original 1960’s Wednesday is still the best. I don’t think I’d recommend this show, only unless you enjoy dark humor and comedic horror. Now, I’ll still probably watch season two when it comes out. But if it’s going to be anything like the first season, then I’m not expecting much. Overall, this show was decently made, I just couldn’t stand it.
