DC's Legends of Tomorrow (Season 2) (2016-2017)
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 2)
This was a huge step up from the first season of this show. I thought I wasn’t gonna care for it, but it added so much more detail and some more awesome characters, so it was hard not to like. The continued storyline was good, and it (somewhat) branches off from the first season. It obviously has the same characters, but it starts fresh with a new objective and new antagonists, which is what a good show needs to do. There’s a lot I could say about the awesomeness of each individual episode, but I’ll keep this short. I just love how even though all the episodes are connected, they each have their own mini-mission within the entire main mission. Also, the time travel was awesome. Usually, I think time travel gets worn out in shows/movies, but in this case, it was so cool. (Minor spoiler ahead) I loved seeing the Legends interact with a young George Lucas and a young J.R.R. Tolkien, so as a nerdy fanboy, it made my day. Things like that is what makes the show so good. Sure, some of the acting and effects are a bit cheesy, but overall, the whole season was very enjoyable. This season is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
