My Adventures with Superman (Season 1)
My Adventures with Superman (Season 1)
So this is literally one of the most perfect seasons of anything I’ve ever seen in my life. And that’s no joke. Warner Bros Animation seriously never misses. I don’t have a single complaint with anything I saw, so if that doesn’t get you excited to watch it, then I don’t know what will. It’s great because even though it’s kind of an origin story, it doesn’t feel like one. Although a large part of the season revolves around Clark trying to figure out who he is, you feel like you already know who he is. Jack Quaid does a phenomenal job of making Clark a very relatable and personable character. In fact, after seeing these ten episodes, I’d easily put Quaid in my top 5 favorite Supermen ever. Not only does he voice him well, but the emotion he presents is perfect, and his suit is just amazing. I seriously have no complaints at all. This version of Lois Lane is also perfect. She’s easily my favorite Lois Lane ever. I love Margot Kidder and Amy Adams, but they’re gonna have to step aside for Alice Lee. Jimmy Olsen is also amazing, and I too want a Flamebird account. The animation (of course) is ridiculously great. You can tell it has some anime styles to it, which I love. Personally, I hate anime, however: this show uses those styles in a gorgeous way. If it can make me like those types of animation, then you KNOW it’s good. Overall, this season is perfect, with some unknown villains, new faces, new stories, and 100% excitement. I would HIGHLY recommend it to all superhero fans, whether you like DC or not. This season is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
