The Greatest Beer Run Ever (2022)
The Greatest Beer Run Ever
I had no intention of seeing this movie, as I went to Regal to see Mystery Movie Monday. I was absolutely blown away after seeing this movie, and though I had actually heard of it, it was so much more darker and serious than I thought it would be. This movie was so enjoyable because even though it had a somewhat serious story line, there was plenty of comedy and laughs sprinkled throughout the movie. This movie actually hits you right in the gut, and there were so many moments that really make you think about what you just saw. And that’s what made the movie so cool. It went back and forth between a lighthearted feel and a dark and chaotic feel. Zac Efron truly shined in this role, and he sparkled in every scene he was in. We got to see the way he can beautifully show his emotions, and he had several moments that were raw and personal, and I loved the choice of casting him. My favorite thing about this movie was how it showed the horrors and effects of the war, without having to be overly graphic. There were some intense scenes that included death and blood, but it wasn’t too bad, and it was still entertaining to watch. The music was also really good, and the inclusion of many 60’s songs was a really nice touch, and helped make the setting seem even more authentic. I would highly recommend this movie, and I definitely think it’s one that everyone needs to watch. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go see it now! Oklahoma!
