This is one of the greatest found footage films I’ve ever seen. It’s not my all time favorite, but it was pretty good. From all the ones I’ve seen, this is basically the one that kickstarted many found footage ideas. Of course, there were some before this one, like ‘The Blair Witch Project’, but this one feels like the cornerstone of the found footage genre. For the most part, I enjoyed it, although there were a couple bits that felt like they didn’t necessarily belong. It also took me several minutes to really get into it. But once I did, it was very addictive. It only gets more exciting and scarier as it goes on, which was nice. Especially the ending, which was horrifying. One of the big things I loved was the runtime. It was right under 80 minutes, so it didn't take too long. I do like long movies, but in terms of found footage, the shorter the better. It makes it feel more realistic, in terms of battery life for a camera. Also, found footage movies can get very tedious the longer they are, so it’s nice to have one that’s quick and to the point. The acting was mostly good, except there were some scenes where it felt a little forced. It was also a tiny bit difficult to listen to the whole movie in Spanish, so I’m thankful for subtitles. I could go on about this awesome movie, but it’s one you need to experience for yourself, so I’ll stop. I’d definitely recommend it to all horror fans, especially, and obviously, if you like found footage. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
