• Coming in as the 27th perfect movie in Berry history, this extended version, much like the previous two LOTR movies, is beyond perfection. There’s a reason it won 11 Oscars. You can read my full review for it under the Return of the King theatrical version, as I don’t need to write another one for the longer cut. Just make sure to watch this one at some point, because it’s legitimately amazing, and so much cooler than the original version. And honestly, probably the best fantasy movie ever made.
