Supergirl (Season 2) (2016-2017)
Supergirl (Season 2)
I don’t think I was as big a fan of this season as the first, but it was still pretty good. I don’t think the main storyline went in a way I would’ve taken it, however, it’s definitely not bad. For the most part it was enjoyable. Just some small creative decisions that could’ve been better handled. I did really like how the stakes were raised in this season, along with the introduction of a few new characters. I really like Mon-El, because his presence brought a lot more joy than the show already had. But the number one thing I loved most about this season was Tyler Hoechlin making his Superman debut. To this day, there hasn’t been a single Superman that I’ve disliked, and Tyler easily falls in as one of my favorites. His suit is super sweet, and he just has such a likable personality. Most of the effects were decent, but like always, some of them were quite corny. Not in a bad way, just in a way that they’re sometimes easy to make fun of. The music also continues to be pretty sweet. Overall, this season was solid, though a few kinks could’ve been worked out better. This season is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
