Annabelle (2014)
Annabelle
Blech. That about sums up this movie. I mean, this is one movie that legitimately sucked from beginning to end. There were no actually scary moments, and I can’t name a single time that I felt remotely scared at all. As well as it not being remotely scary, the plot made absolutely no sense whatsoever, and it was so scattered that at the end I had know idea what had really happened, nor did I remotely care. There was surprisingly little of the actual doll, which basically killed the whole point of the movie to me. There wasn’t a single good character in the whole movie, and I was honestly hoping they would all get killed off at the end because they were all dumb and obnoxious. The music was ok, and there were a few moments where the score was pretty suspenseful, but nothing else stood out about it. I was so bored throughout the whole thing, and I considered stopping it about halfway through, but I thought I might as well finish it so I could write this review. I absolutely despise this movie, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re just really into horror. I wouldn’t be offended at all if every physical and digital copy of this movie was destroyed for eternity.
