• Based on Stephen King’s novel by the same name, The Shining is often regarded as one of the greatest horror movies of all time, and it is certainly a scary movie, mentally, physically, and psychologically. For me, Jack Nicholson’s character, Jack Torrance, really lived in my head throughout the movie because of how well he played a crazy guy. It's such an eerie story and vibe that really hits you throughout the entire thing. And the score of this movie is absolutely insane, as it seriously runs well along with each scene. I haven’t read the novel, so a couple scenes didn’t make sense to me, but overall, it was still really good. Nicholson is just so good at playing psychos and he was amazing. It’s obviously going to be disturbing because it’s a horror movie, but I still think it's amazing. This film is officially Berry Approved, so watch it now!
