Man of Steel (2013)
Man of Steel
One of the best origin movies ever made, Man of Steel easily delivers one of the coolest and most interesting superhero movies we’ve gotten. Although I’ve always grown up not really caring for Superman (and still not caring much for him), Henry Cavill fits the bill PERFECTLY. Cavill has made me really enjoy his portrayal as Superman, which is awesome for him because I’ve always despised Superman. Everything about this movie is amazing, such as the cinematography, the acting, and the music. There are so many scenes and shots that give me chills, and Zack Snyder really made it beautiful. The acting is superb, and both Cavill and Michael Shannon make such a great rivalry in terms of heroes and villains. Shannon easily made General Zod one of the coolest live action DC villains, and I cannot express how well he fit the role. The music is also insane, and definitely one of my favorite superhero movie soundtracks. Superman’s main theme is slower than the classic one, but it’s still so beautifully written, and it gives you a sense of hope and peace. I would definitely say this movie has some of the best superhero fight scenes we’ve gotten, and every single frame that has action in it is mind-blowing to watch. I would absolutely recommend this movie to anyone who loves superheroes, and I could watch it again and again. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
