I Saw the TV Glow (2024)
I Saw the TV Glow
I had somewhat decent hopes for this movie, because I’ve seen plenty of positive reviews for this. I can understand why some people like it, and it was a beautifully shot film that was put together nicely, but I just couldn’t get behind it. It was boring, dull, and just a little too far out there for me. Which is funny, because I normally really like stuff like this, but I just couldn’t get into it. I never got attached to any characters, or never got invested into the story. It felt a lot like a David Lynch movie, which I did enjoy. It had that very surreal feel to it. But I didn’t think the story was all that great, and neither were the characters. Yes, you’ll probably disagree with me. I just didn’t like it. It’s a step up from the first movie of the Screen Trilogy, but not a big one. The film editing and cinematography was amazing, but everything else wasn’t. I may try to rewatch this one in the future, but at the moment, I’m not a fan.
